On Aug. 1, 2026 kids joined college basketball star and Cooper Farrall for a fun and exciting basketball camp. Cooper will hosted his camp at the US Pullman Community Center in Chicago. He is working on plans for another camp soon!
In 2026, the summer clinic was for children of families who are members of the La Rabida community.
Parents were encouraged to watch camp and hear from Cooper about being a college athlete, and get his autograph! Cooper wants to support the hospital that provided him with so much support during his journey and support families and children who are living with type 1 diabetes.
As part of the camp, Cooper talked about what it's like to be an athlete living with type 1 diabetes. He will also provided samples of snacks and products he uses.
Cooper is a rising senior at Bentley University where he was a First-Team All-Conference selection his junior year and led the team in scoring.

About Cooper Farrall
Cooper Farrall from Valparaiso, Indiana is a senior on the Bentley University men's basketball team. Cooper has become well-known for his ability to overcome the adversity of being a type 1 diabetic to play basketball at the highest level.
At 11 years old, Cooper was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. He says he never has known the feeling of playing basketball without diabetes so he uses that for perspective and motivation to inspire others.
