How to CREATE YOUR SPORTS CAMP

Pliable helps high school, college and professional athletes use their name, image and likeness (NIL) to create camps and clinics in their communities or across the country.  We help athletes in any sports create a camp, clinic or start a full-time training business.

Below are some of the important steps in creating a camp or clinic.

STEP 2: Select a location

Pliable athlete, Logan Hale is a mentor for young golfers in Colorado.

Based on the sport, Pliable can help you pick the best days and times of the year that are best for your sport. We can also help you plan the schedule of events and activities to ensure a positive and fun experience for everyone!

STEP 2: Select a location

Katie Shanahan was one of the first athletes to use her NIL to start a sports camp.

We can help you brainstorm locations for where to host your camp. There are several strategic elements involved in picking a location. This can include contracts with the facility, rental costs, liability insurance and how much room you will need for all the participants in the camp or clinic.

STEP 3: Target Audience

STEP 3: Target Audience

Based on the location and the facility, you will need to decide what age groups and participants will be the best attendees for the camp or clinic. This step involves the planning of activities and events and for the age groups at the camp. We can help you decide on what is your best target audience and help you generate the most revenue.

Step 5: Budgeting

Step 7: Review & Debrief

Step 6: Host the Camp

Logan Hale makes a donation to Lifeline Puppy Rescue after using her NIL to host a sports camp.

As you evaluate the options from the first four steps, budgeting for the camp is part of the process, but it becomes the most important step when decisions need to be made about the time and resources that are available. For example, will there be a charitable component?

Pliable will help you through the process every step of the way, including offering a full-service customized camp proposal or individual services to help you monetize your name, image and likeness and host a camp of clinic that will make you proud and build your athlete brand.

During the camp or clinic the athlete is the star of the show. This is where they get to shine and do what they do best, play their sport and share the sport they love.

Each camp or clinic should include time to connect with the athlete one-on-one to create meaningful relationships and a positive experience. We can help you with several different ways to make the camp fun and exciting for everyone!

After each camp or clinic, Pliable has a specific procedure for how to evaluate the camp's success. We will work with you to create metrics and evaluate what went well and what could be improved in the future.

We have helped many athletes use their name, image and likeness in a variety of ways. We are excited to learn more about you and what camp or clinic you want to create!

You play the sport, we create the Camp.
