ABOUT KATIE SHANAHAN
Katie Shanahan from Falmouth, Massachusetts is a sophomore at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.
In her first two seasons in Hamden, Shanahan made an immediate impact and is one of the team's top players on defense.
Shanahan committed to play field hockey Quinnipiac during her junior year of high school. As one of the top defensive players in the state she scored 9 goals and had 14 assists in her senior season for the Clippers. She was voted Boston Globe All-Scholastic Player of the Year, Boston Herald All-Scholastic Player of the Year, and Cape & Islands League All-Star.
